This is from a TSN article:

GMs did not discuss commissioner Bud Selig's idea to have the league winning the All-Star Game get home-field advantage for the World Series. Selig may bring it up when owners meet on Jan. 15-16 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Bud your a moron, what happens when you order the game to end in a tie?

Is it just me or is this guy trying to set a record for making himself look like a fool?

You can read the entire article here. (http://www.sportingnews.com/baseball/articles/20021216/445757.html)

Not only the whole "tie affair" but this might actually make the All-Star game actually mean something to players...

Except for those who never have any shot at a World Series. They can still skip out.

Worse yet, say the Sox are mad at the Twins who are running away with the division. Koch comes in to close a close game and throws a couple of meatballs, boom. Twins have to travel for the WS. Yes, I know it is far fetched, but does anyone think someone wouldn't do it if they wanted to stick it to their division leader and potential competitor? Heck, why give them an advantage in next years FA market?

Can't you just see this turning into a big can of worms if someone does blow a save or watch strike 3 with the bases juiced? Talk about your potential for conspiracy theorys...
