I might be missing something, but it doesn't say the Sox drafted anyone in this article.

The 3 players were selected in the Minor League Rule 5 Draft, not the major league one.
The White Sox were unable to draft anyone in the Major League Rule 5 Draft because their 40 man roster is full. The Toronto Blue Jays did select Gary Majewski in the 2nd round of the Major League Rule 5 draft.

What does it mean to take someone in the minor league rule 5 draft? Is there still some kind of reversion right where the original team can get the player back under certain circumstances, or is the minor league rule 5 draft just a straight draft?
