I never realized that Cal Eldred was making $ 5,400,000 in 2000 for us.

I thought the difference in the 1988 White Sox salaries and the 2002 salaries was pretty amazing. Imagine paying the WHOLE team just under $6 million (compared to 2002 -- $57 million).

I'm sure JR would love to have a six milion dollar payroll again. He just might try to get away with it if attendance doesn't improve.
