What about Thomas?

Most Sox fans felt weeks ago he wasn't going anywhere because no team in their right mind will pay him the kind of money the Sox owe him.

And even if Frank reverts back to his 2000 or 1994 form, this team STILL isn't going anywhere.

The need pitching badly (both starting and middle relief), a catcher, a center fielder and a GM who knows the difference between his brain and his rear end.

Somehow I don't think any of that's going to happen. With or without Frank, second place at best.

Agreed. Frank can do all the damage he wants at the plate. We saw last season that offense doesn't win a divison title, at least not with the pitching staff the Sox have. There are still too many holes.
