... that with this win, we just cut the lead in the division to 6 1/2 games.

I officially retract ALL statements of us not being in it anymore after this win. I am a stupid, 17-year old moron. I shall shut my yapper.

ah ha ha ha ha ha ha! This feels great!

That's okay, I'm 52 and I stated yesterday that we'd be lucky if the M's let the Sox leave town with their bats and gloves. I'm a moron too....yeehaa!

Never before have people been so happy to be morons!

If this can't propel us into a streak, nothing can.

The good news is that we have a slumping team and a team with 1 decent pitcher ahead of us.

Our only chance, albeit slim, is the division - the wild card is much further out of reach.

Well it has been noted by many that I am dumber than a bag of hammers but I never lost the faith.
But then again what the hell do I know.

The A's will win the wild card. Bet on it.

Just imagine.......all the things that have gone wrong this season and we are only 6 1/2 out? That should tell you who will dominate this division for the next 10 seasons....

Geez, I can't believe we are making up so much ground by playing .500 ball. Did I mention that I hadn't given up on the season? See my signature line? I am the only one who is not a moron!

BTW, I sold my soul to get us back in the race. I hope you guys appreciate that.

Yes, the A's are far too good to be caught (See what happens when you trade FOR expierenced players?)

Luckily, the Twinkies and Toons have been looking to unload that 1st place title.

If the Sox can dominate the division for 10 years, maybe then the governor won't find it necessary to mention the Cubs score when he announces he won't run again (oh, yeah, it even made the TV up here!!!)

Getting thrown out at 3rd twice in a game is the sign of a supastar!
