Adkins in relief? Why they tinkering with that? Hey Razor-there's enough of our guys in relief down there.

"Joe Valentine has no record in three relief appearances, giving up three runs on eight hits over three innings for a 3.00 ERA "

Man - what's happened to Hummell? He seemed like a real deal prospect 2 years ago, but he seems to have lost the ability to hit the ball. Of course, we're pretty clogged right now up the middle right now, but I'm still not sure who the double-play combination of 2004 will be (other than I suspect that Jimenez will be there).

Hummel was the guy to pencil in at 2B it seemed and he just fell off ....prospects never are a sure thing, but position guys at least can be counted on more than pitchers, but the saying is a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush for a reason
