My roomate and I were watching The Rookie, starring Dennis Quaid. When Jim Morris made his Major League debut against the Texas Rangers, the first battter he faced was... THE CHOICE!

He then struck out Clayton on three pitches. I thought it was hilarious.

It certainly sounds realistic. :D:

don't you remember. Clayton was actually upset with the movie when it first came out. He remembered that he managed to foul off a couple of pitches, before striking out. Either way, good riddance he's gone, and I feel sorry for whichever ballclub he winds up playing for next season.

I think Paul Sullivan had a short story on that. The movie took "poetic license" with that first at bat.

It was on a 3-2 pitch.

Yeah, thats our Choice, arguing whether it was 3-2 or 0-2. Still the same result, a big old fat K.
