This should be interesting. Alan Trammel was an excellent shortstop. He played the game hard, and was well-liked and respected by his peers. Maybe he can rejuvenate that awful Tigers squad, and actually get them to compete for once.

This hire has to be popular with Tiger fans. I'm not sure what kind of job Al-Tram will do as a skipper, though. How cool would it be for us to hire a former White Sox great as manager....say #72?

I hope Trammel hires his former second base mate as a coach. Lou and Alan together again.
