"One day after being traded to Oakland, Ray Durham testified as a character witness for attorney Charles Schneider in the Cicero corruption trial. Durham called Schneider "the most honest man I know." Asked lead prosecutor Mitchell Mars: "Mr. Durham, is he more honest than Jerry Reinsdorf?" The courtroom erupted in laughter, and Durham never responded to the question"
