The Sox play their season opener at Kansas City on March 31 and also close out the year at Kauffman Stadium with a four-game series. The home schedule concludes Sept. 22-24 as the New York Yankees make their only visit to Comiskey.
After the opening three-game series against the Royals, the Sox head to Comiskey Park for their April 4 home opener against Detroit.
The crosstown classic will continue with the Cubs hosting the Sox the weekend of June 20-22 at Wrigley Field and then traveling to Comiskey June 27-29.
The Sox's longest road trip of the season -- 14 games -- begins on May 26 at Toronto and concludes with six games at Arizona and Los Angeles, where they will face the Dodgers for the first time since the 1959 World Series.
25 of the Sox's first 28 games will be played against American League Central rivals, including a three-game series at home against defending champion Minnesota on April 25-27. The Sox didn't play the Twins until June 24 this season but will face them 12 times before the All-Star break in 2003.
