Its probably just the sox fan in me, but I have this uneasy feeling that the roof over burlymon's head is gonna cave in tonight. Anybody else feel the same?

No, actually, I haven't been this relaxed for one of Burly's starts in a long time.

Actually, I'm feeling the opposite. I think burly will come out tonight looking for revenge against the tribe and will pitch really well. Then again, I'm usually an optimist in regards to the Sox, wait, that was an oxymoron.....

Lets also get some more smart running on the basepaths.

You're right. I'm sick of making the third out at third base, and stealing bases when it is unnecessary. That's a dad gone rally busta'

Compared to what he had been doing. He has still been great, but since that shutout streak his pitches seemed to have changed. It might just be me, but his pitches aren't as dominant as they were. Anyone else get the same feel?

I don't think anything has changed at all. The game he lost last week was the first he lost since what, May? He had one bad inning. It happens. That inning wasn't even all that bad until he hung a 3-2 to Jim Thome, who is absolutely the hottest hitter in baseball right now. He'll be fine.

i read that he has been 1-2 his last 5 starts. i hope he isnt getting tired. :)

Ok, I forgot about the Baltimore game he pitched. I suppose you have to count that as a loss. He gave up three earned runs. Meanwhile, the Sox scored zero. So, yeah, I guess Mark did 'lose' that game in addition to the Indians one.
