Went to the game tonight, and in addition to seeing Burly get his 18th W, I saw Maggs hit his monstrous 33rd homer, surpassing his previous career high of 32 in a season.

Maggs is also just 3 RBI short of his 2000 total, too, and his .317 average is another career best.

Not bad for an otherwise mediocre White Sox season.


p.s. did you know that Maggs' full name is Magglio Ordonez Delgado? That's what baseball-reference.com sez. Huh.

In latin countries, you have and use 2 last names..your father's and your mother's...when writing your full name you write your father's first and mother's second.
