View Full Version : Reality Check?

Recently there has been talk of Reinsdorf selling the team and thus resurecting the Sox and making them a contender and perhaps better fan acceptance. Or will it?

What can be done to make this team a powerhouse and put us up there with the Yankees, Braves, Indians(in past years) of winning baseball.

What can be done?

It seems to me that no one is willing to express their opinion publicly and take a stand and demand winning baseball.
As they do in New York with their teams. Are we to remain the second city forever?
Doomed to talk of days past of summers past in stadiums with not enough skyboxes and teams who contend every ten years only to have them break our hearts with false promises and stupid ad campaigns. 'It's time' comes to mind when I think of this.

WE must demand a winner or Reinsdorf will continue that old fashioned businessman mentality which is "If it ain't broke don't fix it" Which is our lack of demand for a winner, the wait for next year has lasted too long and too many generations. It must stop now.

You mean bribery doesn't work?

Maybe he's trying to make an abstract anti-Reinsdorf statement. Like JR keeps putting out the same crap year after year, 'ghostface' will keep on rehashing the same post day after day.
