Renewing what used to be an annual pilgrimage to Milwaukee for the Brewers/Sox game. Given the iffyness of the weather, we're not tailgating. Anybody have any suggestions for new places to stop before the game? Looking at Sobelmanns or Oscars for a burger.

Heading up there for today's game, did not realize the game was a 6:10PM Why the odd start time on a non Holiday?

There's a Sobelman's at 16th and Wells now that will likely be less crowded than the one in the Valley pregame. Get the jalepeno cheese curds.

As someone who lived in Milwaukee for 4 years it breaks my heart that this series isn't on a weekend.

I live in Antioch, IL- so I'm actually 1 mile closer to Miller Park than I am to the Cell- I'll be there tonight- maybe 1 of the next 2 games as well.

All these places offer shuttle services to/from Miller Park for Brewers games-

We usually pre-lim at Kelly's Bleachers-

I will be there for Game 1 with my Brewer fan friend. The 6:20 start time for this game is indeed an odd one. Asked my Brewer fan friend about that and even he didn't know why. At least there will be a guarantee of no rain out. Hopefully the Sox can keep "stirring the drinks" in Milwaukee.

Had it been on the weekend, I would've been up there. But it isn't so, I won't make it. Have fun all!

Last minute plans to come to tonight's game? Grab seats in the Miller Lite Deck (incl. food + drink) for just $49: http://atmlb.com/1PCOBx9 (http://t.co/sENUqqGx8Y)

I'll be in the bleachers section 101 seats 1-4 with my brother coming over from Madison. Can't wait to get up there.

AJ Bombers is probably my favorite place to get a burger. Best beer selection is without a doubt Benelux in the third ward.

I thought it sounded like there was a goodly contingent of White Sox fans at last night's game. Good job, guys! :bandance:

Big fan of the belgiums? I have been to Cafe Central, owned by the same folks, huge variety, not much of a selection for draft. I also am more of a stout / porter fan. Will settle for a nice local pale or IPA.

Nice vocal contigient of Sox fans there last night. If anybody is going today or tomorrow, it has to be the most construction free trip I've had to Milwaukee in decades. Just a bit near Gurnee and another small stretch just north of the Mars Cheese Castle. Barely tapped the brakes in either spot.

I was in the bleachers and it was all sox fans especially by the sox bullpen. Scotty Carroll made the mistake of trying to talk to some of the fans about booing.

We had a couple of white sox cheers that went for a while and got pretty loud. I guess I haven't seen many games on tv but in person their defense is as bad as advertised. At least 3 very bad plays that cost us the game including the inside the parker.

Nothing like watching two last place teams battle it out.
