The weather is looking bad for this evening so maybe this can serve as a weather thread as well.

All I gotta say is that right before the game starts, if the Sox don't use the clip of Griff yelling, "BATTER UP!!!" from BTTF2 then this entire promotion is a failure.

I hope they get this in for this reason alone, but the weather is looking bad - maybe just a rain delay? The hourly report on weather dot com isn't looking good. :(:

I'm going and hope to at least get my tailgate in before the rain!

Maybe someone can travel to the future and tell us how the weather will be, who wins the game and how much longer Ventura is the Sox manager.

Back to the Future Night, a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the hit film.

This theme night includes a pregame performance by cover band "Great Scott!" at Gate 4 and postgame fireworks set to a "Back to the Future" soundtrack. Fans are encouraged to visit the DeLorean Time Machine - the time-traveling vehicle from the movie - at Gate 3 and at Section 159. The "Back to the Future Night" Party Shop in Section 159 will offer exclusive "Back to the Future" gear. The #SoxSocial Lounge also will have a new look for the night.

So strange that the Sox seem to keep getting hit with miserable weather every home stand. Only the opening three game series with Minnesota had sustained good weather from what it looked like on TV.

Other than that they just seem to keep getting cool, damp, rainy weather.

Bad luck unfortunately.

The bad weather for Sox homestands has been like clockwork. It gets gorgeous out as soon as they get on the road. It's such a shame because this is a cool promotion they are doing tonight. A nice weather day would have probably gotten a good crowd. Fireworks to the BTF soundtrack as well. I'm probably still going to the game but keeping an eye on the weather just in case. Not looking good right now.

If this gets rained out one of the next two days is going to be a DH for sure.

Tonight looks bad. Tomorrow looks OK. Sunday looks sketchy.

If this game gets rained out, White Sox and Reds are expected to play a traditional doubleheader Saturday. Stay tuned.

Anyone know if Season Ticket holder can make the ticket exchange for rainout online through the account manager?

So I have tickets to tomorrow's game as well as tickets for the tailgate party pad. Does anyone know if you can tailgate while the first part of the DH is in progress?
