That Tigers 'pen convinces me the division will be bad again this year.

3-4 on the road trip against 2 tough opponents, not all that bad but we need pitching. Let's have a nice homestand, the Rays are not doing all that great and we know we can beat the Tigers.

I hope Beckham starts to hit soon so Hahn can get something for him in June or July!

I like Garcia and Semien and their potential upside seems greater than Beckham's.

3-4 road trip is better than I expected.

Sadly, I feel the same way, but then again, I've drastically tapered my expectations for this season.

I really don't want to see Jordan Danks anywhere near the field except as a late inning defensive replacement. I don't care that Eaton is hurt, Danks blows.

Again? He called for a steal yesterday with L Garcia on 2nd with Abreu up.

Danks is now hitting .094 with 15 strikeouts in 34 AB's and yet Robin continues to bat him lead off. Why???? Somebody has to go down by Sunday.....bye.

Just curious, where were your expectations to start? The most optimistic predictions I saw were that this could be a .500 team. They have been much better, on whole, than most people expected.

Nothing to bring up. Even if Eaton comes back full strength there still has to be a 4th outfielder. Then there is De Aza playing everyday which is getting quite ugly. The only solution is L. Garcia and maybe even Ramirez getting outfield time.

75 wins. Now with Avi gone, I'm pretty much expecting only around 70-72.

I mean, it was a 7-game road trip against the teams that had won 3 of the last 4 AL pennants.

Our pen convinces me that we will lose lots of winnable games this year.

No way on Ramirez getting OF time- but I would like to see L. Garcia getting playing time as RH hitting OF vs. LH's- I'd platoon him with De Aza in LF or when Eaton needs a rest. His role with the Sox will be as a super utility/speed off the bench guy- use this year to help him develop him as an OF as well.

At this point, would it hurt to send Dunn out to LF 2-3 times per week and get Paulie more ABs?

Are you losing that much on D with Dunn vs DeAza?.

DeAza has turned into a very bad OF, Probably as bad as Viciedo. No arm, no range, bad jumps, and dude just can't get out of the way when it's not his ball.

Should have called this thread WHAT A SHAME

Too bad we didn't get this game today. A split is impressive w/o Sale and facing Zoolander and mad max. But a series win would have been electrifying

Yep when was the last time we took 3 out of 4 from the Tiggs?

August 3-5 2010. Of course, between then and now, we have only played them in a 4-game series one other time.

So really, your statement is not very electrifying.

That also took me less than two minutes to find. People are lazy.

I hate the idea of Dunn in the OF-

I hope the time Beckham's value will be at its highest this year was not yesterday morning.

It was, if you don't keep playing him.
