That's unbelievable. I was almost certain he was gone. I even heard rumors that he sold his place in Minny. Obviously, all that talk is for naught now.

The Pohlads know he won't complain about having a warm pile of dog **** to work with as far as talent goes.

The Royals won 86 games this year. Why not extend him?

Since 1986, the Twins have had only two Managers. Other than the fantasies on The Score about Gardy "wanting to come to the big city and manage the Cubs, everyone's dream team," there was no buzz that Gardy was leaving.

He can always sell his place and not leave. Maybe his kids are grown up he doesn't such a big place?
