That team in Bourbonnais could be another Chicago team that finishes in last place.

No way, at worst 3rd place for the Bears.

Also, if the Sox FO wanna sell these players then the team needs to start winning games. If the Sox keep this losing going, no one will want them.

I first became a Sox fan in 1970,as my name implies.

The 1970 White Sox record:56-106,the WORST in franchise history,IIRC.

This team may very well challenge that mark.

So, how about the Chicago Fire!

Underachieving and unlikely to make the playoffs? At least the trade for Magee seems to be working even better than expected.

There is one championship contender in Chicago this summer: the Sky.

The pro Ultimate team is currently leading the Midwest Division, as well

Eh, football is so ass random, it's hard to say where teams will land, I mean, you could realistically make a case for any of the 4 teams in the North to finish anywhere.

That said, I think the Bears are, a strong #2 in the division.

Now that they have Elena Delle Donne, this proud UD Blue Hen is on the Sky bandwagon.

I think the 12 year old girls softball team in my neighborhood is a pretty solid championship contender too.

Nick Swisher has 29 RBIs this season. I think 28 of them are against Sox pitching. He sucks. His contract will be a disaster for the Indians.

Dirty .230 is still an appropriate nickname. That's about what he's hitting, as usual.

1970 team had horrible pitching- but I would have taken May, Berry, Melton, Aparicio and Herrmann over their counterparts on the 2013 team.

And after the season, the Sox somehow peddled Syd O'Brien and others for your namesake and others.....if they can peddle O'Brien, anything's possible. And heck, we gave Boston Gary Peters for him!
That team did have s good starter (John) and aging Horlen and Wilbur Wood, who Tanner moved into the rotation. That and your namesake is all they needed for 71.
