I guess that's why they were playing Beckham at SS in AAA. He's the backup SS?

I just looked it up and noticed that Ramirez has played every inning of every game so far at SS. That's kind of incredible.

Nellie Fox wouldn't think so and also some guy named Ripkin.

So when Beckham returns, who goes? Greene or Wells?

Makes sense. Not going to cut Gillespie or Keppinger.

Makes sense. Not going to cut Gillespie or Keppinger.

Keppinger has the multiyear contract and Gillaspie is out of options, and is playing better than Keppinger. The odd man out appears to be Greene. But for Keppinger, it could mean more of the utility role he had before coming to the White Sox who were expecting him to be an everyday player.

There were some who questioned whether Keppinger would be a strong everyday player when the Sox signed him. There is no question he will see a lot of playing time, though.
