The Giants lost to the Miracles in the 2000 NLDS, not in '99. Dbacks won the West in '99 and Miracles were the wild-card.

Well of course you do. You're a Mets fan!

I can't even keep up with who won the A.L. wild-card anymore, let alone the N.L.

I do recall a certain group of klutzes backing their way into a one-game playoff in 1998 to determine the N.L. wild-card. They even had patches made up to commemorate the achievement.

By the way they were hitting, I think some of their hitters were wearing the patch over their eye.

Miracles are 4 1/2 behind L.A., 3 1/2 behind S.F., tied with Cincy.

2000 was scary, as both the Sox and Mets made the playoffs. I thought it was the end of the world.
