Axelrod will draw the final game of the Nats series and Quintana will get the opener against the Indians as a way to maximize the Sox's L/R advantage for their pitchers:

So with the day off, everyone gets at least five days of rest still. Six of Quintana.

Good. I just hope that Quintana has a better outing next time. I'm not going to say that I have high hopes for that kid, but I like his makeup and hope that he has a good career. He shows some promise at least.

While this is probably a moot point, in 12.1 innings against Cleveland Quintana has a 1.46 ERA and a .811 WHIP.
