Signed by the Sox in the offseason, waived, claimed by Toronto, now the Blue Jays need space on the 40-man. Sox have acquired him for cash.

So is Lars Anderson the acquisition that Hahn was referring to here (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/chi-chicago-white-sox-rick-hahn-contract-20130401,0,1286068.story)?

Maybe? It sounds like the Sox traded for him before the Jays were about to waive him.

Damn! I was hoping that this thread would read "Fridaythe13thJeremy Returns!" Of course, any thread involving jeremyb1 would almost certainly end up in the ****house.

Good Lord you hold a grudge

I have no idea what he's talking about.

I have no idea what he's talking about.

I don't think very many people here would. You have to go back about a decade to find his last post!

Good Lord you hold a grudge

If I want him to come back, how is that holding a grudge?

I have no idea what he's talking about.

Fridaythe13thJeremy is a reference to a poster who went by the username jeremyb1. Jeremy was notorious for posting entirely in lower case, and considered himself a strong advocate of Billy Beane and anyone else who favored the use of baseball statistics over the more human aspects of the game, which drew the ire of PHG, Torn Labrum, and several other respected posters here.

I don't think very many people here would. You have to go back about a decade to find his last post!

Just about, as his last post was sometime in 2005.
