Anyone know when these two games go on sale?

I've been wondering the same. It looks like Brewers regular season tickets don't go on sale until the beginning of March, so probably around then?

I've heard that last time around these tickets were dirt cheap. I plan on going up for the Saturday game.

I would guess 2/23 along with the reg season tix.

I highly recommend this as a quick baseball roadtrip. Or train trip, actually: Chicago <-> Milwaukee is the only Amtrak route in the top 20 not located on the east coast.

Last time this happened... I was in college still so maybe 7-8 years ago? Tix were $5 for outfield and I got them at the gate day of. They also only allowed access to the lower level.

Going to Miller Park is a fun time. The Sox had a regular season series there a few years ago. Nearly full crowd as I recall, loaded with Chicago fans of course. It would be cool if they played there every year.

I'm looking at doing a Brewers day game/Sox night game doubleheader in September. The 14th.

That's a great train ride. Also every time I go to Milwaukee and I Priceline a hotel, I get the Hilton which is probably a 5 minute walk from the Milwaukee train station. Can't beat it, but how easy is it to get to Miller Park without a car? Damn stadium's in the middle of nowhere.

Last time I did the Sox/Brewers preseason finale game there were a number of bars that ran a shuttle to the park (granted, this was quite a number of years ago). I'm not sure if this is still available or not.

Some of those opportunities on the website are really stretching it. I don't think the author is allotting the proper amount of time to get through security and to also deplane for those ones that involve air travel.

There's a Milwaukee County bus that runs down Wisconsin Ave for Brewers games. Also, within the last couple years they built a new road parallel to I-94 that gets you from downtown to the park in maybe 10 min, so you could take a cab.

There is a shuttle bus right with a stop right across the street from the Hilton.

I believe Clayton Richard did the following in that series as well (EDIT: yep, went back and put the links in)

1) hit a double (http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIL/MIL200906120.shtml)
2) pinch-ran and scored (http://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/MIL/MIL200906140.shtml)

Called the Brewers ticket office today, was told that there was no ticket info yet for this game, but that a press release about it is expected out this week. Sit tight.

Not to mention that nearly every sports bar in Milwaukee has a shuttle(they usually require you to buy some drinks/food) that takes you to and from the game. Kelly's bleachers, Derry's Pub, Mo's Irish Pub, Long Wong's off the top of my head. Not to mention some of the hotels do it as well(ambassador comes to mind). The Casino does it too.

Start a new thread about it. You'll get a ton of input. I wish I had some money. I've been dying to go to spring training.

$15 for the best seats, $10 for everything else.

Great price to see a game from the best seats in the house in a major league ballpark. Count me in, especially since I can't make Opening Day.

Just as an FYI, Easter falls early this year on that Sunday March 31st. I was going to go to both games but probably won't be able to make either game since the Saturday game is at 7:10pm. A Saturday afternoon game would have made for a nice Amtrak trip.

Does anyone know what time the gates open for the Saturday game? Would love to try to get there early enough to see if we can get some autographs.
