White Sox call up Crede, Paul

Third baseman Joe Crede and catcher Josh Paul were recalled Tuesday by the White Sox from Triple-A Charlotte.

Crede, 24, has hit .312 with 24 homers and 65 RBIs in 95 games with Charlotte. His career batting average is .292.

Paul, 27, hit .273 with no homers and 17 RBIs in 65 games with the Knights. He batted .500 during a 10-game stint with the Red Sox in June.

Do you think that any time White Sox comes up on a Tribune spell check it is corrected to Red Sox?
