Well played! I see what you're saying and that may very well prove to be. I just do not wish that on him. Just the opposite, I wish Lillibridge a successful run with the Cubs and beyond.

That's quite untrue because you wish everyone failure with the Cubs. It's fine, I understand it. But don't pretend you wish any Cub success because you don't.

I made a direct statement about Lillibridge, wishing him well. I have made similar statements, such as when Neal Cotts went over to the Cubbies. In addition to that there have been and there are currently other individual Cubbie players - ones with no connection to the Sox - that I hope do well.

I don't root, root, root for the Cubbies as a team. If you wish to, fine. However I think it's certainly possible to while not being a fan of the team to wish individual players to do well.

I stand by my statement about Brent Lillibridge. Thanks for pretty much calling me a liar though.
