Just because I'm curious about everyone here - who is your favorite active non-White Sox player?

You can answer AJ if you want!

Mine is Joey Votto.

I really like Buster Posey.

Even when you see him in street clothes, he looks like a baseball player. He also makes a huge difference on the field, both offensively and defensively and apparently off the field as well. Since calling up Posey, the only season the Giants haven't won the World Series was the one where he was injured. He also handles everything with immense class. When a reporter asked him last season if he was frustrated that AT&T was hurting his power numbers, he answered that he wasn't. It just meant he had to start hitting the ball farther.

+1. I'd pay to watch him take pre-game fielding.

Roy Halladay, I'm hoping he bounces back this year. He's beggining to make a strong hof case.

I'll stick with my answer from last spring. For those players with no past connection to the Sox, it's Curtis Granderson. I also admit that I really enjoy watching Derek Jeter play. Does that make me a bad person?

Good choice. I would love it if the Sox got that guy someday while he's still good.

Seconded. I have a number of Phillies players whom I like, and he's on that list. Their entire core could use a "bounce-back" season.

Mike Trout. I have been following him since he broke out in the minors. I just love everything about his game.

I was not sure if your question included all ex Sox players, but since you said AJ is OK, I will add Mark Buerhle.

Same as last year; still Mark Buehrle.

Tim Lincecum, he's a joy to watch when he has his stuff working, might make a trip to the urinal next year if he is scheduled to pitch when the Giants come to town.

Andrew McCutchen-
A phenomenal player. An even better guy.
It's just awesome to see him play in person regularly.

Former Sox, Buehrle

Non-former Sox, Trout.

Giancarlo Stanton. I would pay just to see him take batting practice. I don't think I have seen a guy with more raw power. Maybe Frank Howard.

I'd have to agree with you on him if I couldn't pick MB.

I've always been a big Michael Young fan. Very clutch hitter and very under the radar player in his career.

Jose Altuve: I'm always a fan of those players do well despite perceived shortcomings.

Kind of torn on A.J... Love the guy, but I have a feeling he's going to find ways to beat us this year.

Mine are filled with players who I shared positions with P/3B/SS but they all share the same quality of loving the game and showing how much they truly care.
