Sox finalized all their minor leagues coaches and staff today. Britt Burns will be the Double A pitching coach at Birmingham and Vance Law, who was fired as BYU head baseball coach after 12 seasons, will now be a special instructor in the system working directly under Buddy Bell.

I see a pattern here. Next Ron Kittle, then Chris Sabo.

Let's see -we have Dick Dotson, Britt Burns.
Maybe we'll see LaMarr soon.

LaMarr has come to spring training as a guest instructor from time to time but I don't know if he's interested in getting back into the game full time.

Isn't Dotson a pitching coach in the system too?

The ex I would love to see and in a higher capacity is BlackJack. But maybe his nose isnt brown enough.

Maybe we'll get Tim Lollar to work with minor league pitchers on reducing walks, Tim Hullet as a fielding instructor, and Jerry Dybzinski can teach base running.

I hope him and Hawk have made peace now that Ozzie is gone. Because I'd love to hear him broadcast some more. He was great with both Hawk and DJ when he filled in.

But back to the topic...hope these guys work out for us.

When I met him, we asked him if he would replace John Rooney (this was during the '05 World Series). He said that with him having kids, the travel would be too much. He wants to be with the munchkins.

Well, how about Koosman or Bannister.
Harold's on the staff.
Where's the Dybzer these days?

Heard from Vance this morning... he said he was excited about coming back into the fold and that he hopes his work can help in some way the Sox win another World Series.

Blackjack questioned Ozzie's use of Beckham and Hawk took offense because he didnt think Blackjack truly understood the situation. Something like that.
