So many closers can fade into nothingness, but not him, 2008 was his redemption year and he's got a ring to show for it. Nice career.
We should probably give him an appreciation thread. I, for one, appreciated his lousy pitching under pressure during the 2005 World Series.

Agreed. I appreciate him giving up what now must be considered one of the most famous home runs in White Sox history. :D:

That was huge for us since it pushed Roy Oswalt to game 3.

That was huge for us since it pushed Roy Oswalt to game 3.Eh. I think Fatty Clemens would have pitched the first WS game in franchise history regardless, and we tagged Oswalt for five runs anyway, so I don't think we caught any breaks in that regard.
