stupid question....but whats with the teal?

I browse this board occasionally but havn't been doing so for long...but whats with the teal text sometimes used in apparantly certain situations? I thought it was one poster's trademark but now I'm not so sure....

It's difficult to distinguish between sarcasm and reality on a message board. So, to distinguish this, we post in teal when we mean to be sarcastic. For example:

Kenny Williams surely knows how to make deals!
