Tribe gets 2 top prospects for Paul Shuey, a middle reliever having a good year..

We really are playing with one hand, if not both, tied behind our back.

Guess we're stuck with Gascan Howry, there was some talk about him going to LA, but I think they make out better with Shuey. As usual, we lose.

Let's recap:

Dodgers get: Paul Shuey; 3-0 2.49 ERA

Indians get: Terry Mulholland; 0-0 7.31 ERA
Ricardo Rodriguez; 5-4 1.99 ERA in AA; 1-0 3.86 ERA in AAA.
Francisco Cruceta; 8-4 2.80 ERA in A

I think we can all agree pitching is more important then Ray Durham. Let's remember who is doing the dealing in LA, everyone's favorite GM Dan Evans. He shouldn't be trading away prospects.

I agree, Jerry, Evans isn't the greatest.
That's two from the scheuler progeny, plus the patre himself that aren't the greatest.

I'm glad to see your not blind on what Evans is doing.

Shuey has better stats then Ritchie could put up so that makes it ok to trade three arms? I don't think so.
