Quick? They played with 24 yesterday.

I meant that Dewayne Wise has been here a little more than a week and he's already been called up.

Albeit he'll only be here for 7 days until Konerko gets back.

Well, he was good enough for the Yankees for much of the season, which probably makes him better than most of what we have in the minors.

He must have impressed someone in the organization in the past since Ozzie isn't around anymore.

That's one perspective. Wise is no longer with the Yankees, not because he sucks, but because Ichiro Suzuki appeared as an outfielder on the roster.

And oddly enough, Brent Lillibridge has been starting at third base for the Indians.

Will he replace Thornton in the Pen?

We got that suckbucket back instead of bringing up 1st baseman, Dan Johnson who has hit 25 dingers in the minors this year. $%^&%%

I danced a jig when they got rid of him before

Yeah, Thornton really sucks and he can go any time as far as I'm concerned!!

Wise wearing #28, not the 31 he previously wore with the Sox.

It was obvious this was likely the second we signed him. There was absolutely no reason to sign him unless you planned on using him.

He's one of the worst hitters in this generation of ML ballplayers; he's not even a particularly good defender.
.257 CAREER OBP. Yea, just the guy we need for a pennant chase. But he's great in the clubhouse!!!
The Yankees? The last man on the roster isn't the reason they win.

DWise comes thru with a clutch two out rbi basehit, and then another hit later.....but keep hammering him,as he keeps hitting...all good!!
