The world of business is nuts. Or else maybe I am. I hold that web site in very low esteem. A lot of pasted together nonsense.

Yep. That's the life of a volunteer blogger.

Your assessment is very accurate. Why anyone reads Bleacher Report is beyond my understanding. $175 million? I must have overlooked the business report on the price of bull**** being at an all-time high.

If they are getting that many unique hits a month then there's a ton of ad revenue being generated.

Deadspin and other sites (such as this one) link them all the time just based on absurdity. A lot of times search results pop up bleacher report articles in the top 3 results. They're getting a ton of traffic, and this price just helps prove that.

That doesn't qualify for the big money, only for the chance to be one of the volunteer bloggers who didn't get anything from the deal...

And their contributors will still get nothing.

Why should they be entitled to anything?
