Most people vote no. Thats shocking to me. Coming into this season his OBS was the highest for a right hander IN THE HISTORY OF BASEBALL! I'm sure that will drop but he is still a hall of famer. I hope the voters are smarter than the people. Heck they said McWhiff deserves to be there more than Frank.

So far...
42% believe Frank is a hall of famer
63% belive McWhiff is a hall of famer

Need more evidence the people who vote in ESPN's polls are idiots?

...and don't even get me started about the all-star game voting...

:gulp:

I will make no comment on the general stupidity of those who voted no. I will state that if Frank Thomas were a Cub or a Red
Sox, the media of this town and Boston would already have him in the Hall of Fame.

I don't even want to think about that scenario.

The no votes stem from all the negative publicity Thomas has received. After looking at his career acheivements no inteligent person would dare vote no.

It didn't help with ESPN "stirring the pot" either. I don't know if anyone else watched Sportscenter, but out of all the potential HOF players they profiled, Thomas' was the most negative.

Yep, and if he is traded to Boston they'll call him the greatest hitter of all-time.
