I was thinking maybe the Trib was planning a followup article on how the Sox drew 0 people and the teams didn't even bother to show up and it was ELVIS NIGHT TO BOOT!

Maybe it was Mike Scioscia...ran down in the clubhouse, made the call with a disposable cell phone... in the hopes the game would be called since the Umpires would've reverse his disputed call....
