I saw in another thread the mention that Mike passed away and checked on it. Unfortunately it's true, he died on July 1st after a brief illness at 72.
I had just gotten back from traveling all day from Chicago the night before and somehow missed it.
I've very saddened by this news, having had the chance to interview Mike and talk with him now and again. Just a very nice guy and he kept tabs on the Sox right to the end.

Very sad news. He was a solid player on some very, very good Sox teams of the 1960's.
