He looked better than Septimo, anyway.

Gavin looked like he finally had it together and then gets hurt, I hope we don't see the batting practice pitcher we saw for awhle.

Really liked what I saw out of Veal Friday and today.

I don't understand why Septimo is still up with the big league club over Veal though.

Same here. Take his last start vs. Minnesota out of the equation and we all know he's had horrible results against the Twins over the past few years. :(:

I agree. Septimo might have a higher upside in the long run but Veal seems to be more major league ready now.

Seems like the Sox rushed Humber back and he had little movement on his pitches today. I hope they're not doing the same with Floyd... Yes we're way sort on big league pitchers, but would another rehab start really hurt?

I don't believe that- I think Humber is just bad.

Septimo has better stuff, but Veal has better results. I would have been inclined to send Septimo down also, but the Sox can always change their mind on this decision later.

Agreed. Humber didn't look "rushed" back in Boston. He had three rehab starts before that. What more would anyone want? He just sucked against the Tigers. It's his fault and nobody else's. He didn't execute his pitches.
