Cubs/Diamondbacks game delayed, according to the official box score on ESPN:

THE START OF THE GAME IS BEING DELAYED DUE TO SNOW.

I've heard about Lake Michigan's cooling effect, but that seems a bit extreme.

I'm downtown and it's raining pretty hard. Of course I am about five miles closer to the Equator than Addison Street, so I would not be surprised if this stuff is snow in the northern latitudes.....

The heat wave moved north. ESPN is now saying there is a thunderstorm at Wrigley. Maybe it's one of those thundersnows?

Well, c'mon. Let's cut them some slack. Hailstones kinda sorta look like big, hard snowflakes. :D:

During my lunch break today, I heard the Score report that raw sewage was covering the bullpen and the third base line.

It must not have been that bad, or else Jim Cantore would have been here.

No, that was just the Cubs lining up for the anthem.

At least the game wasn't called due to darkness.
