Anyone seen this kid live or know any info about this? Seems like a good claim on paper.

Throws mid 90s with a hard slider. Was a huge prospect when he was drafted but never seemed to really put it together. Might be a great coop project

Any guess if we would be thinking stater or some kind of reliever?

I imagine their farm system is getting depleted by all the call ups

Another failed top draft pick for Coop to teach a cutter and see what happens.

Kenny loves these moves. If it works great, if not who cares?

I agree it is a classic KW move - with high reward - low investment. He pulls a diamond out of the hat as often as he pulls a rabbit.

Coop 'ol fix him - great line from someone on here regularly.

Even if his success rate isn't too hgh on these type of moves, it is still worth it to give it a try.

In Pittsburgh, the sentiment is one of pure disgust at the pick from its genesis.
Everyone here wanted Weiters. They ended up with Moskos. He has always been TERRIBLE.

But.....where there's an arm, there's Cooper.
