Half-price ticket code: PHN

Just scored lower deck box seats for $23 a seat, including Ticketmaster fees. :bandance:

According to this article (http://www.nwitimes.com/business/local/hammond-polish-deli-serving-up-pierogies-at-white-sox-game/article_e00a71db-32e5-5a44-a505-65d0582b2eca.html), some local Polish restaurants will be selling their specialties on the concourse tomorrow night.

Baseball AND pierogies. I'll be in heaven. :gulp:

P.S. It's good to see dynamic pricing work in my favor for once.

Wish this was on a different night. Too many holiday parties and such going on the 3rd/4th. My mom would have enjoyed this.

This would have been cool to attend. As someone who is half-Polish, would that have meant I could only stay for half the game? :D:

Thanks for the update! Snagged 2 bleachers seats in Sec 163 for a total of $43 bucks with all the annoying fees! Not bad for a "big" game!

They should have Wimpy call the game, because he is the only guy in baseball who pronounces "Pierzynski" correctly.

I've always said "Peer-zin-skey." How is it actually pronounced?

They should wear the red and white throwbacks... the colors of the Polish flag.

Did anyone see anyone selling pierogies? We did not see any on the 500 level. If anyone had any were they good?

I've always said "Peer-zin-skey." How is it actually pronounced?Describing how to actually say it was harder than I thought, but here we go. Take the word "yeah" and place a P in front of it, for zin say it more like "shin" and then simply ski.

So you end up with Pyeah-shin-ski.

Instead of the sh sound, you want the sound in "pleasure" or "measure." Then you have it. Wimpy's close though.

They were only sold on the lower level in section 158. I did not try them last night but have been to MJ Polish Deli many times and their food is great.

If you managed to lift weights over the winter and want to show it off your big guns, come to the game with cutoff sleeves, in honor of Ted Kluszewski (Big Klu).
