Dusty Baker vs. Derek Lowe

After nearly getting plunked during last night's game, Derek Lowe rips Dusty Baker, saying that he has "no respect" for him:

The Reds head up to Cleveland next week, and Lowe is projected to start one of those games...we could see some fireworks. The Reds/Cardinals feud may have nothing on this.

They are both being douchebags.

Lowe, sure, is known to be a boozer. That is up to his team to deal with, so why should Dusty say anything about a guy who's not on his team, if he indeed was/is.

Did Lowe nearly run him over while DUI? Did he puke on Dusty's shoes wasted or something? If not, then why is Baker commenting?

Then he notes he told Mat Latos to buzz him in? What a dumbass!!

OTOH, Lowe needs to knock it off as well. He wasn't even hit. It is well-known baseball lore that sometimes grudges get carried further. Take AJ and Vicente Padilla. You can bet that if Padilla faces AJ something is going to hit or come close to hitting him.

Do either of them talk about it or lament?

I'm just glad both of them are someone else's issue.
