Valentine Believes Technology Would Solve Problem (http://espn.go.com/boston/mlb/story/_/id/8039938/bobby-valentine-boston-red-sox-says-technology-help-umpires)

Valentine's comments are a contuation of what he said during the weekend, a weekend in which the Red Sox were swept by the Nationals. Let's see if MLB forces him to apologize to Captain Blowhard (Joe West) as Hawk was made to. West is currently working the Vic Mackey interleague series between the Dodgers and Angels.

*Note* I call the series between the Dodgers and Angels the Vic Mackey series because Mackey was the main character on The Shield, which took place in Los Angeles.

I think it should be called the Bill Gannon Series.

Ironically, there was a character named Tom Gannon on the show. He appeared in only one episode, but was mentioned in several others. He was also referenced in a handwritten note on one of the bathroom stalls, indicating that he'd used the Farmington station facilities to empty his bowels.
