Brewers trade Houston to Los Angeles (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news/ap/20020723/ap-brewers-dodgerstrade.html)
Infielder Tyler Houston was traded to the Los Angeles Dodgers by the Milwaukee Brewers on Tuesday night for minor league pitchers Ben Diggins and Shane Nance.
Diggins, a 23-year-old right-hander, was a first-round draft pick two years ago and was 6-10 record with a 3.63 ERA at Class-A Vero Beach.
Nance, a 24-year-old left-hander who was a 24th-round pick in the 1999 amateur draft, was 11-3 with a 4.17 ERA at Triple-A Las Vegas.

They traded a guy that was 11-3. That wouldn't have gone over to well here.
See the Marte trade.

Interesting deal, does this fill any needs for LA? I thought they were pretty set, unless this is just for depth.
BTW, JM, I would like to say that you do a very nice job on quoting articles and taking parts of them. It's so good I don't have to read the whole article this way

With the pathetic state of their minor league system I am sure that Dodgersinteractive . com is going nuts.

Evans made it sound like he's going to be a bench guy.
I just take the sections that help my point look good.
