I always root for history, unless the guy's a douche (Schilling in '07) or it's against the Sox (Ted Lilly in '10, who coincidentally, also belongs in the former category).

Never heard of him, had to look him up. Does the 19th century really count?
I always root for history, unless the guy's a douche (Schilling in '07) or it's against the Sox (Ted Lilly in '10, who coincidentally, also belongs in the former category).
Verlander's commercials seem reason enough not to root for him, unless you are a Tigers fan.

I think the one where the guy is choking on food is pretty funny. However, I can't root for a "rival" anyway.
