A couple of years ago, the RedEye posted the tunes used to introduce the various Sox players. Does anybody out there know the tune now used for Rios?

Most players have been switching up with two songs each this year. The only ones I know off the top of my head:

Paul Konerko- "Harvester of Sorrow" by Metallica
Brent Morel- "Simple Man" by Shinedown (Skynrd cover song)
Gordon Beckham- "Your Love" by The Outfield and "Seek and Destroy" by Metallica
AJ Pierzynski- "Bullets" by Creed

That's all I got.:cool:

I heard Ramirez come out to Call Me Maybe during the day game on Wednesday. That might have just been between inning shennanigans though.

Santiago's intro song has definitely made me a fan. Anybody playing Jimi is ok in my book. :thumbsup:

Someone else, I think it was Lillibridge, used Voodoochile as his song his first year with the Sox. If it wasn't him, it was another bench player.

After closely listening to a few of the lyrics I eventually found the song, and you're only half right. The song is titled "Beggin," but this version was by the Black NORWEGIAN hip-hop duo, Madcon. Go figure. Nonetheless, I was able to download a copy on Rhapsody.
