Dunn is hitting .096 against lefties. He has struck out 16 of his 31 at bats. Viciedo is hitting .286 against lefties in limited at bats. Maybe Robin should have Viciedo DH against lefties for a few games and put Lillibridge in left. Might be a slight improvement in the offense and obviously would be with the defense. Dunn would then be a great pinch hitter late or could come in if/when the lefty starter departs.

Not a bad idea but Dunn for the most part has shaken off 2011 and I would not want to mess with his mind right now. He is on a pace for 47 HRs and 120 RBIs so leave him be for right now.

Yep, don't want to knock him off kilter at this point--and even though his BA against lefties is miserable, he's definitely making better contact against them than last year. Let waking dogs stay awake...

The Tank must of really been bad at 3rd base to be moved to the outfield like he was. This team would of been better off if the Tank would of worked out at 3rd base.

The only worse 3B I can think of in recent Sox history was Betemit. Seriously, he was THAT bad.

As someone here once said, he definitely needed a Betemit.

That he did. Along with a more accurate arm. I still remember that glorious .500 fielding percentage.

Dunns not going to be a platoon DH.

I understand you do not want to screw w Dunn's head. Then again, his inability to even be competitive against lefties may ultimately do the same. But the White Sox are the worst hitting team in baseball against lefties.
