That's two weeks of honors in a row for the Pale Hose. This could become a habit!

What? No Pedrioa, Cano or A-Rod?.... Way to go Mr. Konerko.

Great job PK, a well-deserved honor. We're proud of you!

He's definitely having a solid season so far, and while he doesn't go for all the personal glory, he's on his way to another All-Star appearance. He won't get selected in the fan vote, but he is on his way to a sixth All-Star nod because any skipper would be wise to select him if the players don't.

Keep in mind that first base, seemingly always stacked with all-stars, is even more congested this year with Pujols and Fielder joining the league. Konerko is hardly a shoo-in for the All-Star Game, no matter how deserving he is.

And I doubt Paul would care either way. He'll keep doing his job despite the popularity competition.

Taking one small month as a sample (and granted, it is only 1 month)... Unless Pujuls gets voted in by fans, he doesn't quite deserve to be returning home for the All-Star game.

But anyway... Way to go Paulie.
