On the website (http://cnnsi.com/2012/writers/tom_verducci/04/24/humber/index.html?eref=sihp&sct=hp_t12_a0), not sure if it'll make the magazine's weekly Talking Baseball column or not.

Interesting hearing what Coop tried and how similar it was to what previoius coaches had told Phil, but that Phil was ready to hear it now while he wasn't several years ago.

Great read. Really gives insight into how successful Coop has been for us.

Interestingly the article mentions teams trying to find the next Philip Humber (pulling a good pitcher from the discard pile) and two of the ones mentioned had pitched for the Sox: Lucas Harrell (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8775;_ylt=A2KJ3CfCR5lPvQgAFz5NbK5_) and Jeff Gray (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/players/8375/career;_ylt=Apa05U6pKCdAoekI3IxctM6FCLcF).

Funny that they mentioned these two guys who had pitched for Cooper, albeit perhaps only briefly, but Cooper's "magic touch" didn't help them.

Article did make the print edition this week (LeBron on the cover).

Sub headline calls Cooper,"games best pitching coach..." (page 29)
