Right, and Grizzly Adams had a beard.

The only downside to that statement is that it was made by Luke Scott.

Yea, can't say I disagree with the his sentiment, but I won't go out of my way to be backing up anything Luke Scott says. He is routinely seen wearing his ass for a hat.

I think he's my new hero.

So many people believe what they are told. Fenway and Wrigley are dumps. I would hate to be a player for either of those teams. He is completely realistic and accurate in everything he says.

Check Luke Scott's take on some other things, and you might not want to be so all fire behind him (or then again, maybe you would). In any case, not a good guy IMO.

What is his take on other things?

Ehhh ... I don't know the guy, so I can't say what kind of person he is.

I think he's right on about Boston fans.

Probably can't get into it in much detail without this thread getting Roadhoused. Let's just say he and John Rocker would probably get along well.

A character based on Luke Scott would be the perfect addition to Eastbound and Down. Mr. Scott would get along famously with Kenny Powers.

Actually I think he's a bit more cerebral than John Rocker, it's just that some will hate his opinions. The last time I rode the #7 to a Mets game (2006) I thought of Rocker. It's not a bad ride at all.

I think he's spot on. I don't care about his other opinions, this one is accurate.
People are told that the stadium is a monument...what makes it a monument other than it's old as ****?

The ceiling is falling apart, nets are holding bolders above people's heads. It smells like pee, the bathrooms are outdated, there are obstructions all over the stadium, and it's tight as hell to get around. This is Wrigley, I've never been to Fenway, but I can't imagine it's anything different.

I've been to both, and it is different. As much as Boston fans annoy me, the club has done a great job of preserving Fenway Park. The negatives are that the seats are cramped as hell, the concourses dark and dank, and the experience is too expensive. Scott was speaking from a player standpoint, however, so I of course will defer to him and other players in that regard.
