Sergio's first appearance in his new home stadium was a rough one.
At least the folks at ESPN finally have something to live for.

He's not long for the closer's role. Cordero will be closing before the end of the month.

Sergio's season so far:
1 good appearance- 2 outs.
1 blown save
1 blown save and loss
ERA- 15.43
I like the kid,but maybe the whispers that the Sox thought the league was catching up to him could have some validity?
I just hope that Nestor Molina turns out good, and Sergio does ok also.

Shame, I think the league did catch up to him. I really thought he was awesome too.

Pretty tough to read that much into it after half a week and three games. He had a rough week last June too where he put together a 27.00 ERA over three appearances and walked a bunch of people. He followed that week up with a 1.80 ERA over the next two months.
Relievers are like that.
