I'm going on the Sunday as a double date with some of my best friends. Should be Sale's home debut as a starter, and first day of the '72 throwbacks.

Then the next night, Monday night against the Orioles. That's the first game of the 7-game plan my dad and I got.

Be in section 109, Row 34. Will be my 3rd Sox Opening Day. Was at Cleveland's OD on Thursday, was my 8th in a row there.

5th opener of my life, 5th in a row. Not bad considering I was a high school student and am now a college student during these times and had to miss school for them.

I'll be in 520 row 6 with my dad. It's my first opener since 2005 and sixth overall. Still deciding on either a couple polish with onions or a nacho helmet for my first ballpark meal of 2012.

Myself, Dad, Dad-in-Law, Uncle and Best Friend from college. 10th Home Opener in 13 season (ever since I graduated college in 2000). We missed 2001 and went to the 2nd home game in 2006 (Ring Day) and 2011 (Opening Night). Can't wait for my first Nacho Helmet of the season, might have to go Irish Nacho this year.

The outfiled concourse will be even a bigger mess. I'm glad we spent the little extra for Club Level. This actually will be our second year that we sat elsewhere.

My all time favorite bathroom story was from last year's Opening Day standing in line about four back from a guy who was taking FOREVER. A guy in front of me screams out, "C'mon Secretariat, let's go!"

My streak is ending this year at 9 due to work conflict. I am amazed of some of the other fans streaks with 30+ years in a row. That is simply incredible. Time to start a new streak next year and GO SOX. I will be with you all in spirit. :gulp:

I hear you Crooked Number...my good fortune to attend so many Opening Days started in High School when St Rita gave it's students the day off for selling all their fund raising candy. So in H.S. I went from '74-'77, then I was lucky enough to have a great Bosses from '78 - 82 who let me go to the Opener....then I was self employed from '83 - '99 and attended a lot of Openers schedule permitting and then my current job from 2000- to present I"ve gone with the Boss and a vendor every year except '08 due to the economy we took a pass... I've only missed 4 Opening Days since 1987.

Yeah I think they're called Tex-Mex stands. Just look for the insanely long lines, but it's worth it.

Also, I think they're cash only. Be prepared.
